The ISSCR Guide to Stem Cell Treatments is Now Available in Korean

The ISSCR is pleased to announce the availability of the Korean language version of the ISSCR Guide to Stem Cell Treatments. The translation was prepared with the help of the Korean Society for Stem Cell Research (KSSCR), the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety-National Institute of Food and Drug Safety Evaluation (MFDS), and the research consortium funded by the MFDS.

The ISSCR developed the guide to provide patients and families with reliable and accessible information about stem cell therapies. The resource aims to inform patients and the general public about the current state of stem cell treatments, and to help patients and families distinguish between scientifically proven therapies and unproven treatments, often promoted using false, predatory marketing tactics, that carry significant health risks.
